January 19th, January 27th 2008

TBI recognizes the important role snowmobile guides play in educating the winter visitor to Yellowstone.  During the winter of 2008, Susan Kelly TBI Outreach Coordinator provided two presentations to guide groups in both West Yellowstone and at Old Faithful.  More than 75 guides attended the training sessions and learned more about the unique thermal environments in Yellowstone.  Snowmobile and snowcoach guides spend on average, 6 hours with the each winter visitor to Yellowstone, with over 49,000 visitors touring with during the 2008 winter season.
