AbSciCon Meeting, April 14- 18, 2008

Thermal Biology Institute’s Outreach team presented 2 posters at the annual Astrobiology Science Conference meetings in Santa Clara, California.  Astrobiology is the study of the origins, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe.  AbSciCon 2008 convened the global community of scholars in this interdisciplinary effort of scientists and educators.  The Thermal Biology Institute highlighted summer teacher workshops and MEA conference presentations that culminated with a Yellowstone field trip in October 2007.  The Hot Science! Program was well received by fellow educators by demonstrating key lessons and tools to engage learners about the extreme environments of Yellowstone National Park.
