Yellowstone RCN: Coordinating Yellowstone Data Collection and Data Sharing

The Thermal Biology Institute is spearheading the development of a Research Coordination Network (RCN). The RCN is focused on geothermal biology and geochemistry in Yellowstone National Park and is funded by the National Science Foundation. The project includes Thermal Biology Institute faculty and staff as well as numerous academic and agency research scientists.

Project goals include coordination of activities that contribute directly to catalyzing thermal research and data sharing; improved resource inventory and a management; and increased collaboration and education across scientific disciplines.

View the YNP RCN webpage to learn more or contact Zack Jay, RNC Project Coordinator, for further information.
