The Thermal Biology Institute at Montana State University presents Hot Science!—a program for the middle school 7th and 8th grade classroom.

Hot Science! is an integrated set of resources, lessons, and props focused on the unique thermal systems of Yellowstone National Park and tied to National Science Standards. This traveling set of materials contain several microbiology, geology, and chemistry inquiry-based activities that are related to Yellowstone thermal environments. Lessons target science literacy concepts like biodiversity, energy flow, and scale.
